Baufeld Full-Stack Web Developer
I like building things from code.
A React Project using the Spotify API to search for music and create playlists.
A social platform for scheduling learning sessions with other code enthusiasts.
An AirBnB clone for renting and renting out costumes.
Every path I’ve taken - whether it’s been in the kitchen, on stage as a musician, or now behind a screen coding - has shaped the way I solve problems.
After spending 10 years as a chef, I know what it's like to manage chaos and stay calm under pressure. As head chef, I learned how to structure my work while staying adaptable to the surprises that each day inevitably brought.
For the past five years, I’ve been producing my own music as an independent artist. In the ever-shifting landscape of the music industry, I learned to teach myself new skills and constantly adapt. In a way, music prepared me for web development. Producing a song from scratch is a bit like building an app - both require creativity, patience, and a willingness to constantly improve.
My dive into coding in 2023 was unexpected. I never took myself for someone who could be a programmer until I started console-logging my first "Hello World". Four months of curious self-studying later I signed up for a six-month Full Stack Web Development bootcamp. This is where my journey really started and how I discovered my passion for frontend development. It’s that blend of creativity and problem-solving that gets me excited.
I’m ready for the next chapter to take all of these experiences and channel them into creating web experiences that people enjoy.
